Creative collaboration
"Everyone is an artist" said Joseph Beuys. Your wedding day is a chance to put that into practice and curate a day that is utterly unique to you. My favourite part of planning is seeing your references and working together on moodboards, to plan a wedding album that feels just like you. Then, I'll ask you what part of the day you're most excited for, what made you choose that song or perhaps even the most romantic painting you've ever seen. Those tiny details help me to train my eye to yours, and see the day as you do.
Spontaneity
Whilst it does help to plan a little bit, and getting those family shots is important, no one wants to spend too much time away from the action. I keep posed portraits to a minimum and the real fun comes when you're not expecting it, when you and your guests are relaxed, laughing and feeling themselves.
The Eye
I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember, which has given me a strong eye for lighting, detail and composition. I'm always looking for the best possible image, applying the principles of photography without even thinking about it. I think of my style as fun, fresh and free, without stiff posing or intense filters.
About me
I’ve loved photography since I got my first pink Barbie camera, aged 6.
After getting my degree in Fine Art Photography, I found myself in all sorts of places: the pit at London Fashion Week and PhotoVogue, to name a couple. Alongside photography, I've also had a career in arts communications and lived in Berlin for four years, soaking up culture, music and all the good things life offers.
Now, I'm turning my lens to weddings. I find they're the best place to capture joyous moments and gorgeous people.

FAQ
Can you visit the location before the wedding day?
Yes, depending on the location, I’d be happy to arrange a site visit with you to get my bearings and scout potential locations for couples shots on the day. Just let me know during our consultation if this is something you’d like, and I can include it in a customised quote.
Do you travel for destination weddings?

I’ve photographed weddings across the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, so I’m familiar with the different cultures and settings in each country. That said, I’m always happy to travel somewhere new! My packages are priced in GBP, but can be converted directly to EUR, with travel and accommodation added where needed.
What if we hate having our photo taken?
No worries! I’m very experienced with working with real people and most of the time you will hardly notice I’m there, except when I might offer you some gentle direction when you're not sure what to do with your hands. I'm a highly sociable person and enjoy getting to know clients and their guests in a relaxed way. If you're still unsure, I also offer a 1 hour engagement shoot, which is a good way to get some experience in front of the camera.
What if you have to cancel?
In the very unlikely case I can’t make your wedding, I’ll give you as much notice as possible, a full refund of any fees already paid and help you find a replacement photographer of the same standard.
How soon after will we receive our photos?

Depending on your package, you’ll receive a small preview of 15-20 images the next day. The rest will follow 6-8 weeks later, depending on capacity. If you'd like to have your photos sooner, you can add-on express delivery.
